Do you shoot large weddings?
I shoot Micro Weddings and Elopements only. This is weddings with 30 guests or less. Click the Micro Wedding Tab to get more information about what that package includes. I have made this decision because I find that I do my best work with smaller groups of people. It allows me to truly connect with the couple and have time and space to really get creative and capture their smooth and peaceful day.
Can we book an elopement at a location you haven’t shot at?
YES!! I encourage it! I want to expand my boundaries and shoot at as many places as possible. I would for sure plan a personal trip before your date to do some exploring and scouting to familiarize myself with the area and landscapes. If i cant ahead of time i’ll be doing extensive research online about the area and study google earth. Then I would just plan to arrive a few days early so I can still explore on foot before your elopement day.
can our family and friends come to our elopement ?
Absolutely you can. Its your day afterall and if having loved ones there to witness the nuptials is important to you, than we will make sure to include them in your elopement experience. Reach out to me and I can explain some of the ways past couples have included loved ones in their elopement day.
Do you offer albums?
Yes and I love designing them for my couples. I only design albums for couples that have used me as their photographer. I do not design albums with other photographers work. I have more information regarding album packages and pricing so reach out and let me know that you’re interested. If you have not booked with me yet ask me to include my album brochure for you to check out upon booking.
What rights to we have with the photos?
I give you a Print Release no Copyright Release.
Print Release – limited release of a small portion of the copyright. This allows you, the client, to print for personal use while preserving the rights of the Photographer (me!).
Copyright Release – releases the copyright from me, the photographer, to you, the client. I do not do this. Once that transfer happens, I no longer own the photograph and can not use the photos without consent.
When you sign a contract there will be a model release section that you sign that allows me to use the images including you, your partner and any guests of yours on any of my marketing material.
How can you officiate and photograph our elopement at the same time?
I actually don’t officiate the ceremony in the traditional way. The two of you perform your own ceremony by saying your vows to one another and exchanging rings. I then ask if you take each other in marriage and pronounce you married all from behind my camera so I can capture the very important first kiss.
I am legally ordained however so I will be the one signing the official Marriage license
