Have you ever thought of Eloping? If you have you may have thought of some epic location on top of a mountain or on a beach in Hawaii. But have you ever thought of keeping it close to home but getting creative with it?
I’ve always dreamed of a hip, urban, funky downtown SLO elopement and I finally had the opportunity to create it.
If you don’t know what SLO is …. it is short for San Luis Obispo California … I like to call it the heart of cali or the best kept secret of California. Although once Oprah named is the Happiest City on Earth… its become less of a secret.
The best thing about this elopement is I was to create it with the inspiration of the Andria Bird Dress and THE PURPLE BOOTS she had for years from Victorias Secret! I saw modern and hip with a funky twist and I ran with it.
I created a floral headpiece to just have some fun editorial photos with it and Reanna our bride LOOOVVED it. Would you rock the head piece? Scroll to the bottom and you will see our groom Mark gave it a go.
What I loved most about this elopement is we had fun walking around town finding fun places to take photos at. I even found a ceremony spot in the middle of an alley which was where I hung out after concerts at SLO Brew. We laughed a ton… I was able to get creative to boot and the results…… IM STILL PICKING MY JAW UP OFF THE FLOOR.
So like I always say, your elopement day can be anything you want it to be. Give me a few pieces of inspiration.. your vibe… how you want to spend the day and let me help plan something fun and unique. REMEMBER, It doesn’t have to be what everyone else does!
